Covid-19 created another, unplanned roadblock to my plane building progress. However, the last week in August, I attended a 5-day, ROTAX Engine Maintenance and Installation Seminar in Sebring, Florida. Dean Vogal of Lockwood Aviation was the instructor. Even though it was a ‘drinking-out-of-a-firehose’ experience, I not only learned a lot, but also made new, like-minded friends. Writing the biggest check that I’ve ever written, I purchased a 140 HP, Dual Electronic Ignition, Fuel Injected, Water Cooled, Computer Controlled ROTAX 915 iS Engine!

Both the ROTAX Engine the MT-Propeller are sitting, safely, in their shipping crates at our factory awaiting being mounted on N724DT.

Working with Stein Air, RS Flight Systems, ROTAX and MT-Propeller, I am close to releasing my Instrument Panel for fabrication. I am also working on fabricating Diffuser/Nozzle Molds and installation - followed by Cowl Fabrication.
